"I am a certified high school math teacher with a master's degree in Math. I am a mother of two children, 16 and 4, and have lived in Cleburne, TX for a little over 11 years. My family enjoys family outings, movies, sports (football, basketball, baseball), and playing board games.

I have tutored and taught students in high school and college courses alike, and enjoy working with both. I ask that you give me a little bit of time to prepare for the lesson so that I can make sure that the material is fresh so I can help the student. I love the moment when it "clicks" and seeing the excitement when a learner understands.

I work hard to make sure that the learner understands and comes to the realization of how to do the problem themselves. I will provide examples, but mostly through scaffolding questions does the learning occur, when we go back and forth from example and problem the learner needs to solve.
