I graduated cum laude from SUNY New Paltz with a double major in History and Black Studies and a double minor in Psychology and Disaster Studies in 3.5 years. I hold a Post-Bacc in Social Studies from Queens College and a Masters in Special Education from SUNY Empire State College.

Since I have been legally able to work, I have had the pleasure of working with students in a variety of instruction, whether it be one-on-one or in large groups. In addition, the population of students I've worked with are extremely diverse, ranging from elementary-aged students that required early intervention services for learning disabilities all the way up to high school students that are preparing for the college admissions process.

I understand that writing may be difficult for some students; it's hard to get all of your thoughts and ideas into neat, organized paragraphs. Throughout my time as a student and teacher, I have developed methods that help structure essays to the liking of both the student and their teacher. In my current job, we focus on Regents related to English, Global History and American History, I have developed techniques to break down the exam itself and ensure that the student is prepared for an exam. In my classroom, we use a variety of methods and resources to further improve skills. With these tools, I can help ensure that your child is prepared for the Regents, no matter the grade.
