"I graduated from Northwestern University and worked in advertising as Web sites were just beginning to be an essential business platform. I worked in graphic design, print production, web sites, video production and editing. I also love animation using Adobe products. I currently teach Adobe software to high school students and was awarded teacher of the year in 2019. I am also certified to teach English, Debate, Public Speaking, and Forensics (Competitive Acting). My background all ties together as I love the art of storytelling. I enjoy a great book as much as I love an engaging movie. My goal is to teach students how to tell stories well using many different mediums.

I teach every day and I worked in several advertising agencies. I not only know how to use the technology, but I know how to make money doing it. I’m very patient and love getting to know people. When I can help someone achieve their dream, I think I’m as excited as they are.

I started drawing when I was very young. My friends and I created our own comic books and specialized in visual storytelling. If I wasn’t a multimedia teacher, I would be an art teacher. Many times I will assign traditional assignments that lead into the computer version. This helps those not as comfortable with the computer to understand concepts and then see how they translate to doing something similar with technology.
