"I am a passionate chemical engineer with experience tutoring in my undergraduate degree as well as currently during graduate school. I have a master's degree in chemical engineering and am currently pursuing my PhD! Prior to pursuing a PhD I I worked in industry in a manufacturing facility where I learned that I love developing people and watching them learn.

I am particularly excited about tutoring sciences and math! I have tutored in these subjects and am particularly helpful when it comes to conceptual understanding and drawing connections to improve learning.

As a chemical engineer, I have had to apply math to real world problems. I have taken calculus (through vector and 3D) and differential equations and have applied these skills to actual problems beyond the math classes that I have taken. For example, understanding differential equations is essential for describing any form of matter moving though another form of matter. I have also re-enforced these skills as a graduate student!

I have always loved chemistry and really enjoyed combining chemistry, math and physics into chemical engineering. I have taken college level chemistry though physical chemistry and TA'd for physical chemistry. I have a master's and bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and have tutored and TA'd at the graduate level. I am particularly knowledgeable in chemistry of materials and material science as my PhD project is in battery technology (electrochemistry) and materials characterization, in other words understanding how atoms and molecules arrange themselves and what types of properties do they have.

I am excited to help you better understand science and math! Hopefully I can inspire enthusiasm for subjects that I am truly passionate about. Please feel free to reach out!" less...
