"I graduated with a master's degree in chemistry and a bachelor's degree with variety of subjects: chemistry, math and biology along with English, physics, etc. I was consistently in the top 2% of my class during high school and college. In addition, in college, I was awarded a highest honor medal for excellence in chemistry in my graduating class. After a few years of working as a chemist, I decided to share my knowledge and expertise in science,math and English with students and adults as well. In college, I tutored all levels of students including elementary and middle school and college students. I tutored my two wonderful kids from elementary to high school and college years. They are now both highly educated and successful in their respective fields. I have also tutored for the Dupage Literacy Program.

I am a very patient person and am passionate about teaching. I will go the extra mile to make sure the student thoroughly understands the material.

I always make sure my students understand basic concepts and principles when learning new subjects. I present the subject matter with a lesson plan, and at the end of each lesson I review the relevant material by asking questions and giving quizzes on material learned in order to solidify understanding and foster critical thinking. This is not the only way, though.

I am also very flexible in ways of tutoring as every student has his own ways of learning and different needs.
