"Hi! My name is Sean G. I graduated from The University of Akron with a BA in Secondary Education: Chemistry/Physics (2018). After graduating, I taught high school chemistry (general chemistry and AP Chemistry) for one year before becoming a full-time tutor for the past three years. I am also certified to teach high school physics. I have several years of experience tutoring chemistry and physics, and am also able to tutor math course up through Calculus 1. I am very passionate about teaching science and math, and I especially enjoy 1-on-1 tutoring as it allows me to get to know my students well and individualize my instruction.

As an experienced tutor/teacher of chemistry and physics, I have a good understanding of what students need to know and common misconceptions that students typically have. With this knowledge, you can be sure that what you are learning is important and common mistakes will be addressed. I will also individualize my tutoring based on my students' questions, needs, and understanding level.

I offer both online and in-person tutoring (for those who live near me). I can simply help you with questions that you have or prepare lessons and practice problems for you in advance. I offer tutoring in the following subjects:
