"I provide customized reading intervention services and additional support for students in grades K-5.

I retired in Sequim, WA, after 32 years as an elementary educator. The last 15 years of my career I was the Director of Student Support Services in a private school in California. I provided reading intervention and enrichment services to students in Grades K-8 who qualified into the program. I am trained in various reading programs such as Lindamood-Bell 's "Seeing Stars" and "Visualizing and Verbalizing" Programs, the Read Naturally Program, and the DIBELS Program.

I enjoy working with students to help them become life-long learners and to provide strategies for success in the classroom.

My 32 years as an elementary teacher has given me the opportunity to instruct students of all abilities in Language Arts skill development...letter and letter-sound recognition, phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, comprehension, fluency, spelling, vocabulary development, and writing.

Trained in the Read Naturally Program for reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
