"I'm a senior physics major and have received my minor in applied mathematics. I have experience in teaching college course work through the Learning Assistant program. Through this program, we help students achieve an improved understanding of material by building off the student's personal interpretations rather than simply showing student how to get to the right answer.
I can teach all levels of math as well as general/introductory physics courses.
I have received my minor in applied mathematics with an A in all math courses through calculus 3 and have taught material from all of these courses though my experience as a physics Learning Assistant. Upper-level physics courses require utilization of all levels of math as the barebone of problem solving, so I am very confident in my ability to perform and teach math material.
I'm a physics major, scheduled to graduate in December 2021. I have been hired by Texas State University to teach introductory physics courses alongside professors through the learning assistant program. I've also been hired in the Physics Help Center at Texas State, where we provide one on one tutoring with students regarding coursework, homework, or even general curiosity questions.
I truly enjoy helping students understand material in their own personal way, allowing a more confident and correct understanding of material. I'm very friendly and patient, so I'll always put in the time and effort to make sure that everyone is happy with our time together:)" less...
