"I have been teaching College English for 30 years. My background includes teaching writing, research, and literature. I also have experience and teaching business and technical writing as well as helping senior high school students prepare their college portfolios. I have taught literature in all areas, including American, British, and world. Although I am primarily a college English Professor, I teach dual-credit on a regular basis and have done so for 18 years. This means that I'm very familiar with dealing with Junior and Senior High School needs.

Additional areas of expertise include mythology, reading drama, and film studies.

I work extremely hard to create a comfortable, student-enriched environment by using topics and assignments that the students themselves are comfortable with and enjoy studying.
