"Hello, I have a degree in Animal Sciences and a minor in Entomology. I currently work with horses and honey bees (separately not together!). I have owned my own business and have worked in agriculture my whole life. I enjoy all things to do with the outdoors, and love creative and hands on learning. I am very fond of problem solving and have good focus and discipline. I like to see people succeed, and I really enjoy helping people.

I have tutored elementary Children before, ages 4-12 as part of the "No Child Left Behind" program. I had learning disabilities when I was young, and I remember what it was like to feel behind so I can truly empathize with children who need special help.

I LOVE solving problems, especially math problems, because there is usually only one right answer, it's not subjective. I am very methodical, neat, and organized which area all essential traits to learn math. Keeping track of your work with good handwriting and seeing the steps you take is crucial to double checking your answers. I am a firm believer in not rushing with math problems, as most mistakes are caused by it.

I like explaining how things work, particularly living things. I like sharing my fascination with biology and nature in a world that is becoming increasingly digital and disconnected. My degree in Animal Sciences was heavy in learning biology of humans, animals, plants, sea life etc.. and I naturally have a very science oriented brain.

I read and study vocabulary on a daily basis and believe it is pertinent to a higher level of education. Spelling and Vocabulary come naturally to me.
