"Hello my name is Gabby. I have always loved helping people achieve their goals. Whether you want to learn a new software program on your computer, your interested in a new skill or hobby, or want to run a marathon, I have always enjoyed being that support system, a source of encouragement and help when you need it. I always struggled with math in school and when I received tutoring for the first time it helped me to better understand and feel more comfortable with the topics I struggled with. After seeing how tutoring affected my life I decided to help others become more goal-conscious and go after the things they want in life. If you are willing to put forth the effort to learn something new then I will be there every step of the way to help you. I personally love helping people set goals and visibly track them. Being able to visually see your progress not only helps when you have a rough day or don't feel like your "getting it" but also helps you see how far you've come and how far you have left to go. I also love hearing from my students long after our sessions have finished. I have a student who I helped tutor for a big test and she was so happy when she passed she actually invited me to her graduation ceremony! There is no better feeling in the world then seeing a person achieve their dreams and being apart of it." less...

I have an AAS computer support specialist degree. A microsoft network administrator certificate as well as a pc repair and network certificate. I am also COMP TIA A+ certified. I have tutored a variety of people, from an elementary school student up through adult learners , the elderly and even soldiers for the armed forces who are deployed but need some extra help. I am also here to help break the stigma and belief that "I'm just not smart" or I am "just not good with history or the computer". Everyone is smart in their own way and it's all about exploring different methods of learning information until you find one that works for you. I once helped a student study for his history test by having him associate the countries of the war with his favorite candy. We re-enacted part of the war that his test covered on a map in his textbook and from then on he could recall everything about that particular part in the war. This worked for him. Let's sit down and find out what methods of learning (no matter how crazy) work for you. In my opinion the more unorthodox and crazy the better it works. What ever your learning type there are solutions to help you just don't be discouraged.
