"Teaching is communication, and when you teach you have to communicate your way of doing something: if your student learns "how to do" you win, if he doesn't you fail. The most important thing is the result: at the end of the course the student will be able to do what he studied for.

I am Roberto, I like teaching, and I combined the activity of teaching/training with my main job (software developer and general manager of the software company I set up and owned). I did it in Italy, where I lived before staying in Virginia, and now I do it here... I have been teaching software (COBOL, Java, VBA), general computer, Excel, Word, accountancy (this in Italy, with Italian laws and Italian apps). I taught in school as a technician, in professional courses, to my customers (software applications and general computer knowledge) and in classes I organized.

Communication is getting more and more important everywhere, so I combined my business expertise with public speaking and communication, and I also taught promotion and communication, use of PowerPoint, use of press releases, surveys, ads, social media. I did it while I held parliamentary offices in Italy, and while I run a small business, and so I was really "doing" what I taught. So, I can now teach "how" to do… Maybe I have not the best "word" in English (my Italian is better than my English) but for sure, with my lessons, you will learn the best way to do what you need.
