"Leon has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from Northern Illinois University. He passed the Certified Public Accounting exam on his first attempt and has worked for a variety of different companies in different accounting roles. He taught accounting and other basic business subjects in China for four years and enjoys helping students break through barriers to achieve a true understanding and appreciation for accounting and success in life. He has used Excel throughout his education and career to help solve problems and do work more efficiently and loves to pass on what he has learned.

He has used Excel in his personal and professional life and considers himself to be an Expert on most its basic functions used in day-to-day business.

He has enjoyed accounting ever since he first started studying it in high school. It always came naturally to him and made sense as the language of business and how to learn the story of what is going on with a business. When teaching accounting, he tries to explain things in a way that is easy to understand and apply.
