"Hi, On the personal side I have two grown children and three furry "kids". I enjoy walking with my fur babies and also gardening. I love reading, embroidery and researching my ancestry. I don't mind meeting at a client's home as long as we have met in a public place first. Libraries are wonderful places for learning and I always enjoy meeting students at their local library.

I have been a teacher for 15 years. I have taught students in grades Kindergarten through 10th. I have specialized in ESL and early childhood (birth-eight years). I also have certification in middle school language arts/reading. I tutored for several years through a tutoring company as well as tutoring students after school. I enjoy working with motivated learners. With less motivated learners I enjoy the challenge of finding a method of instruction that will motivate them to achieve their best results.

I have instructed students in English for 15 years. As a teacher a major portion of your education is communication. English language is communication. I have written my own papers in college as well as editing papers for family, friends and colleagues. As an ESL tutor you continually explain English grammar, functions and usage. As an ESL tutor I also understand how difficult it is to learn a new language that has conventions that don't always make logical sense. I minored in literature in college and enjoy reading and discussing books.
