"I am a practicing artist. My interests have always been centered around art and the study of art.

I went to Klein High School, and from there went to Rhode Island School of Design. I graduated in January 1995 with a Bachelor of Fine Art, my major was Painting.

I found RISD to be a rewarding experience, with plenty of opportunities to broaden my skill set.

After graduation, I allotted myself 10 years to gain life experience, instead of going directly after my Master's. My long-term goal is to teach art at the college level. I am currently working on the first of a series of art instructional books.

I relate art and the art making process to every aspect of life, and can readily and easily relate the subjects of Art History, Art Theory, Drawing, and Painting to everyday life. I feel I can offer my pupils a firm foundation in each of these disciplines. I do and always will consider myself a student of art and find it rewarding. The study of art is a quest of a lifetime.
