"Teaching is my Life's Work. Having served in the Education Profession since 1993, I understand the journey of the K-16 student. I've spent 14 years of certified work in public education, 10 years as a certified teacher, five years as an elementary school teacher and 5 years teaching middle grades mathematics. I've also served 4 years as a school Assistant Principal and Principal (certified). My pedagogical training and experience helps me to identify student strengths and engage them with motivational, results-driven sessions that builds the foundation for student confidence and high academic achievement.

I have transitioned into Higher Education, where I am presently an Assistant Professor at Temple University. I teach the first step course in the STEM Teacher major sequence, where I get to Mentor and Tutor matriculating students who aspire to become certified STEM Teachers in PA public schools. I am privileged to bear witness to the outcomes of investing in children who have emerged outstanding, productive citizens.

A student's conceptual knowledge (output) becomes a clear pathway to a definitive answer (outcome).

I am extremely effective at student motivation and engagement. I have the ability to pique student interest via his/her prior knowledge. I am firmly committed to inquiry-based learning and hands-on activities, particularly in the (STEM) sciences. Having students hypothesize, make" less...
