"Allow me to introduce myself! I am a PhD Candidate in English (Composition and Rhetoric) at the University of South Carolina with an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts. Over the past 5 years, I have taught College English at 3 different universities and I currently serve as the Assistant Director of the University Writing Center as well. Both my teaching and tutoring experiences have given me opportunities to work with undergraduate and graduate students on a range of projects across a variety of disciplines. I am also trained to tutor ESL students and have had success with international writers of all skill levels and proficiencies

Outside of school, I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. I have worked with clients all over the country on academic, creative, and personal projects alike, from memoirs and dissertations to poetry and YA fiction. I have also worked with K-12 students on assignments for class or writing improvement more generally. My main objective is to help you meet your writing goals while strengthening your writing in the process.

I have a strong command of the English language and can offer help with mechanics such as grammar and syntax, but I can also offers suggestions for clarity, word choice, and overall structure.
