"My name is Johana, and I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2023 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. My concentration is in Early Childhood through 6th Grade, with Bilingual Certification, allowing me to teach from Pre-K through 6th grade.

During my college years, I worked as an AVID Tutor in a middle school, where I gained valuable experience supporting 6th, 7th, and 8th graders (ages 11-14) in their core subjects. After that, I began a one-year residency at an elementary school, teaching under the guidance of a mentor teacher. The residency also gave me the opportunity to substitute, allowing me to gain experience across Pre-K to 5th grade.
