"I have tutored individuals at all levels, including graduate level programs at schools such as MIT and Harvard, but also undergraduate economics and statistics courses at schools such as Stanford. I recently earned a Masterís degree in Economic Policy from the University College London (UCL) (ranked #1 by the UKís Research Excellence Framework and #16 globally for economics and econometrics), focusing on health economics, time series econometrics, macroeconomic policy, and applied public policy analysis. At UCL, I wrote a dissertation examining the labor market effects of U.S. mental health policy and received honors from UCLís economics department for my academic achievements. Before graduate school, I worked at an international affairs management consulting firm, as a lead research analyst for the Washington State Employment Security Departmentís Labor Market Economic Analysis unit, and as an assistant economist at the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). I was also elected President of the Seattle Economics Council in 2014/15. I completed my undergraduate studies at Willamette University, where I earned a B.A. in economics with honors, along with a minor in Spanish. At Willamette, I wrote an honors thesis investigating the impact of President Barack Obamaís 2008 campaign tax plan, studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and graduated cum laude (top 12%). I was also a pitcher for the Willamette University Baseball Team and an alto saxophonist in the University Jazz Ensemble. As an undergraduate, I tutored freshman and sophomore students in their introductory economics courses and, while studying in Spain, tutored local elementary school students from underprivileged backgrounds in their English studies. Iíve also served as as a Career Advisor for Willamette University. I am originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, but spent the majority of my childhood and young adult life in Bozeman, Montana. In my spare time, I enjoy watching baseball, reading, exercising, being outdoors, and travelling." less...
