"I am a LRE Aide at a charter school in Detroit. I work with special education students. I am one of the teachers of a preschool Vacation Bible School class at my church. I enjoy teaching and helping students. I believe that any student can be taught no matter what circumstances are present. Assessing a student’s learning level will help the tutor or educator prepare a learning method specific for the student.

I think it is best to work at a slow pace and gradually increase to a higher pace. I like to make sure the student comprehends the basic points of the subject before moving on to the intermediate or advanced levels. If a student does not understand the basics it will be difficult to understand the advanced levels. I think teaching a student one-on-one is more beneficial to the student than teaching in a large group.
