"Hello, my name is Ms. Jill. I am currently a student at California State University, San Bernardino and am majoring in Public Health Education and will graduate in December. I received my Associate of Science degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences from San Bernardino Valley College. Tutoring is a passion of mine! I love helping students find the confidence to excel in areas that they may be struggling in. Many teachers do not have the time or luxury of working with students on a personal level and that is why tutoring is so important. I have worked at THINK together for the past year and was in charge of our tutoring and homework class. I have worked with students ranging from 6th-8th grade but enjoy working with all ages. I love English and vocabulary because I feel it is an important skill that everyone can benefit from in life. In my class I always make sure that students have access to the tools they need in order to excel. I am an academic and love to learn and believe in the value of education.

I have always enjoyed writing papers and have always excelled in my writing courses. English has always been a favorite subject of mine and I have received exempliary marks on my college papers. I have experience writing research papers, literature reviews, and basic format papers. I also have experience with both MLA and APA format.

Working for Think Together we were required to create lesson plans based on the common core requirements.
