My name is Leslie A., and I am currently a Certified Teacher's Assistant for a suburban school system in Cuyahoga County.

During my day, I work jointly with the instructor to enhance and ensure that each student understands their reading materials. I grade homework, assist in assignment and exams, distribute and copy reading materials, and prepare supplementary notes. I also act as the course web-master. This position allows me to attend instructor lectures and hold office hours with parents to go over the student's process notes.

I work with elementary and teen students with reading, writing, diction, and vocabulary. I also assist students with homework assignments as needed. It is my responsibility to enhance the student's quality of learning.

In my role as a Teacher's Assistant, I am also responsible for facilitating discussions and giving tutorials to students, along with preparing answer keys for testing. I have been working for the school system for five-years, and enjoy seeing students faces light up when they understand a lesson.
