I tutored several students from The University of Miami (U Miami) and helped them improve course grades and build confidence in solving business calculus problems. Most importantly, I helped the students to successfully complete the university's business calculus course (MAS 110. Quantitative Applications in Business).

In addition, I have considerable experience teaching and tutoring several college courses, namely college algebra, precalculus, survey of calculus, applied calculus, traditional calculus, calculus for the life and social sciences, AP calculus, AP statistics, finite math, discrete math, and statistics (I am proficient in StatCrunch, the TI 83/84 calculator, and Microsoft Excel).

Besides teaching and tutoring, I conduct scientific research on the teaching and learning of important ideas in business calculus and traditional calculus such as the concept of the derivative. In fact, some of my research publications have focused on students' understanding of optimization problems, marginal cost, marginal revenue, marginal profit, elasticity of demand, and related rates problems, respectively.
