"I have been very happily tutoring on-line to elementary and middle school students in China since 2017. I have been very fortunate to have met more than 200 wonderful students in need of help with their English language skills including reading, speaking and grammar. It has been a joy to get up early each day to reach out to these students for a 30 minute class. One of the things that gives me the most pleasure is to watch the progress of my students! I have taken a number of workshops in teaching ESL and have been certified through VIPKid.com. More recently, I have taken on some students in the United States and I am thrilled with this addition. My background includes travel to many countries including South America, Europe, and China. I am fairly fluent in Spanish, and know just a few words in Mandarin. Teaching became my passion after a lifetime career in travel management.

Parents of my students have noted that I have a great deal of patience and give their children much encouragement. My experience over the past 4 years with VIPKid has given me confidence to excel as an English Language Arts teacher.

I have openings in the mornings and afternoons to accept new students. I look forward to taking on a few students to complete my schedule." less...
