"I have been an elementary and middle school teacher for many years. I am a WA State continuing teacher certified for K-8 elementary and endorsed for grades 4-12 biology. However, I have also spent more than 15 years teaching pre-algebra, Algebra I, and other math study skills. I have taught remedial math for junior high school and even high school students and helped significantly raise their math skills. I have also worked one-on-one and in small groups with students at Sylvan Learning Centers.

I especially like to help students improve understanding of concepts and practice in accuracy for math skills. Typically, I have helped raise student's achievement test scores by 5 percentile or more per year.
