"I have been teaching for 20 years and I have been working with children for 30 years in one capacity or another. While in high school and college I tutored and was a nanny. My responsibilities always included homework help. I have taught every grade from preschool to 6th. I am currently a 2nd grade teacher.

I have a multiple subjects credential. I have taken courses to update my credentials. I also work in a district that has wholeheartedly taken on common core from the very beginning. I even piloted a program the year before we made any decisions on programs to adopt.

I have taught in the same district for 17 years. I taught K-1, 6th, and now 2nd grade. I am currently teaching Wonders Reading and Everyday Math. I am also familiar with EngageNY.
