"I attended Berea College, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I have taught at schools in WV and KY. I have 25 years of teaching experience in grades Prek-3. I was a director at a large daycare and developed curriculum for our toddler, preschool, and after school programs. My graduate studies have focused on literacy techniques and early childhood development.

I have spent the last 12 summers as a site supervisor for a summer literacy program for students in grades first-six. I am currently teaching kindergarten.
