"I have over 8 years of teaching experience in the classroom. I have taught kindergarten for 4 years and second grade for 4 years as well. I love the younger age group because they are eager to learn and to give them a love of learning is what I am passionate about. I have tutored privately for 8 years as well, specializing in students with learning disabilities to see their true potential.

What I love the most about tutoring is the one-on-one ability to meet the students needs. I like being able to provide a customized learning evnironment for the individual child to meet their needs. What I find most satisfying about tutoring is when I can help the student to grasp concepts that were a challenge to them and to make them believe that they are capable of doing anything they put their mind to.

Teaching reading strategies to help struggling readers is most rewarding when they feel confident enough in their ability to master otherwise difficult passages to them prior to tutoring.

I have taught Common Core math for 8 years. I am also a Certified K-6th grade teacher in the states of SC and NJ.
