"I have been teaching for six years, and tutoring for fourteen. I am a duly certified general education K-6 teacher, and special education K-12 teacher. Currently, I teach in one of the top school districts in NJ, which is one of the nine 2015 Blue Ribbon schools in the state. I have previously taught general education, as well as special education. I have taught grades K-6 in both settings. I am a reading specialist and specialize in students who struggle with reading, writing, phonics and math concepts. In addition, I work with preschool students, some of which have skipped kindergarten as a result of working with me. While I’m experienced with various phonics programs, I’m certified in Fundations through Wilson (OG).

I have taught math in grades K-6, and have an unbelievable amount of resources. I have experience with Everyday Math, Go Math, EnVision Math, and more!

I have taught struggling students to read at grade level or higher in grades K-6. I make reading fun and exciting, while boosting kids' self-esteem. Children enjoy reading with me, and love showing off their progress. I have an abundance of data to showcase!

I have taught all subjects in K-6 and have material for all subjects.

Patience is key for working with students. I first get to understand how my students think, and then I am able to better assist and teach them. I have experience with children on the autism spectrum, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, communication impairments, visual impairments, and other health impairments.
