"Hello. My name is Nikki. I attended Prairie View A & M University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. After college, I went into the workforce working as a scientist in the food industry. After working a few years, I then decided to pursue my Master's in Biology at Chatham University.

My experience in tutoring has spanned from my high school years into my college years and into my personal life. I have tutored people in most subjects from SAT (math and verbal prep) to children just learning their alphabets and spatial recognition. I am also very knowledgeable on the subject of the human body, from years of studying the MCAT. I am a tutor who takes teaching seriously. I want to make the best out of the time spent with my students. I am interested in bringing out the best in the student, first by finding out how the student learns best, then by teaching the student in that manner (verbal, visual, etc.)

I have a natural ability to work through problems and love explaining how I derive the answer.

2016 Accomplishments:

It is only March and seven of my ASVAB students have passed the actual ASVAB test, so they could enlist in their desired branch of the military.

One student's score differed so much from his original score that he had to take the test twice to prove that he did not cheat the second time around!

One student's scores on practice ASVAB jumped from below passing (under 35) to

a 54 (above passing) after only 4 hours of tutoring in total.

Another student initially scored under a 20 on practice ASVAB, and their score after

two months of tutoring has jumped to an 85.
