"Hi, I’m Nickole — a former college instructor with over 20 years of experience in education, writing, and professional training. I hold a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Drew University. My graduate work included a successfully defended thesis on juror bias in intimate partner violence trials, and I completed an internship leading group therapy sessions at a state correctional facility. I’ve taught courses in Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and the Psychology of Aging at the college level, both in classroom and online settings. I’ve also served as a writing tutor in a college Writing Center, helping students develop stronger essays, research papers, and academic writing strategies.

In addition to my academic teaching, I spent several years preparing adult learners for the NJ State Life Producer licensing exam. I taught a 20-hour state-regulated course that included both individual instruction and small group tutoring sessions. These experiences taught me how to support students with a wide range of goals and learning styles — whether they’re preparing for an exam, tackling complex content, or just trying to gain confidence in a subject area.
