"Hi there! My name is Noah, and I’ve been helping students just like you since 2012. I graduated from UT Austin with high honors with a degree in mechanical engineering, and now I’m working on my PhD! I started tutoring in high school when a friend was struggling in a class I took the year before. I remembered how confusing the teacher made it seem and how simple it was when someone took the time to explain the subject in a way that resonated with me. Since then, I have spent hundreds of hours tutoring everything from elementary school material to graduate level engineering and statistical analysis. I know from experience that there as many styles of learning as there are people, and I try to tailor all of my lessons to what works best for each individual student.
I pride myself on teaching not just for success in a class or on a test but in life! I know that when you focus on understanding the material, good grades will come. That’s why my goal is to first and foremost help you understand the world around you, and then I’ll teach you how to apply that understanding to school.
My mechanical engineering background has exposed me to many subjects.
-I am familiar with the following math subjects: arithmetic/elementary math, Prealgebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, Probability, Statistics, and Time Series Analysis
-I am familiar with the following science subjects: Biology, General Chemistry, Anatomy, Physics (mechanics), Physics (electricity and magnetism), and Fire Science
-I am familiar with the following engineering subjects: Dynamics, System Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Statics, Mechanics of Solids, Material Science, Mechatronics/Circuit Analysis, Control Design, Statistical Process Control, and MATLAB coding
I love to read in my spare time, and can also help students learn to read for comprehension and enjoyment.
I have experience helping students prepare for various standardized tests, and I scored highly in eac" less...
