"Education has provided me with many open doors and the confidence to unopened doors! My goal is to help others use knowledge as their strength to accomplish their goals. I have had the opportunity to assist students who possess a range of skills.

I am a fully licensed 8-12 English teacher. I have provided supplementary instruction for SAT prep, English II EOC prep, and English I MSL practice. Over the past 3 years, I have taught grades 9-11. I assign scaffolded lessons to ensure that every step in the process of learning comes with ease. As an inclusion and AP teacher, I have received training in differentiating instruction.

Guilford County Schools' teachers are hired to uphold the standard of "Striving. Achieving. Excelling." As a young teacher, my rapport with students has made this standard like second nature to me. If I am not upholding this standard, I am more than open to constructive criticism; that helps me grow!

I approach every student with the same mindset that anything is possible. I have high expectations for each student and parent, myself included. My schedule is open and flexible, but I do appreciate as much prior notice as possible.

I am prepared to travel to the desired location to provide my services. However, on behalf of myself and the student, discretion will be used to determine whether the environment is conducive to learning or not.
