"I first flew out of the US in 2004 to Cambodia to teach ESL for two weeks. A few years later, in 2010, I flew to Jordan for five weeks to teach ESL to a higher age bracket and to tutor. That is when I began to love teaching and tutoring. After graduating with my Business degree, I flew to S.Korea to become a full-time English teacher. A year passed and I decided to move to Taiwan. I taught in Taiwan for over two years, before returning stateside. I then began to hone my skills by becoming a substitute teacher in LBUSD and taking as many Special Ed and high school classes as possible. I have a knack for English and for math and physics. I always put in 110% to help the student understand pesky concepts and don't sleep easy when I know they're struggling. As a student of business, I know that there's one thing more important than money: time. Time is a scarce resource, it is always running out. We need to use our time wisely if we are to get ahead in life. I try to keep this fact ever present in my mind throughout the day so I do not backslide and waste the precious time I have here on Earth.
