"Hi, I'm Jason, I graduated from The College of St. Joseph where I played 4 years Varsity soccer as well as graduated top of my class as an English Major. Following college, I immediately started teaching high school English as well as coached three sports, all while obtaining my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been a teacher and coach for 16 years now and really enjoy helping those that simply WANT help. Anyone that is looking to better themselves is already way ahead of others and I'd love an opportunity to assist in that. My years of being a teacher and a coach have been successful based not so much on those students passing, but on the words of praise and appreciation I've received. I think my ability to relate with students and understand their struggles has made me successful at this point in my life. Teaching isn't just about the book, rather how someone can relate to you and I feel I do a very nice job in this regard.

What makes me a great tutor is my patience and my ability to communicate. Being around high school students all day, both in class and on the soccer field, you can really learn a lot and where I find myself to be most successful is my relation to the student and my ability to communicate and understand their viewpoint.
