"I am a retired English teacher who loves young people and enjoys helping them to gain language and study skills that help them succeed in school and life. I have a Master's degree in Education with a certification in secondary English from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. I taught for ten years through the continuing education department of the LSU-S campus and specialized in preparing students for the English component of the ACT test and the writing component of the SAT. I am retired and living in central Arkansas close to family, but I miss the challenge and the joy of interacting with young people as they prepare for college entrance exams or seek to ready themselves in general for writing research papers in school. I would love to have the opportunity to tutor you and help you succeed! We can best decide on a methodology after meeting and exchanging information such as learning style and content area." less...
