"Hello! My name is Andrea. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law and Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Chicago. I also have a law degree and passed the Bar Exam. While attending the University of Chicago, I was on the Dean's List and inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. I love to teach and have been tutoring students for over four years.

More specifically, I have extensive knowledge in legal writing technique for bar exam success. I have been tutoring Bar candidates for more than two years and can share effective learning tools. These resources include outlines, practice tests, and study aids to develop exam taking accuracy. With years of experience practicing law exam writing, I can assist with essay writing, time-management and understanding the black-letter law. Students may also send me practice essays for review and feedback to best improve their score.

While I most frequently tutor first and second year law students, I also assist students in other courses such as, research writing and public speaking. I am well versed in the English language and can help students express their thoughts clearly in writing. I have counseled college and post-graduate students for seven years on writing and presentation strategy for admittance papers, personal statements, and more. Additionally, I have degrees in psychology and sociology which yield prior training for teaching others how to write in an organized and cohesive manner.

Teaching is both intellectually enlightening and rewarding. Kindness, motivation, patience, and determination are the keys to developing the best possible results in everything we do.
