"Last semester, I officially became a volunteer tutor for my favorite teacher (Anatomy and Physiology), but though the title is new, I have been doing this all my life! I am considering becoming a teacher in the future when my son is older. He's a cute little 6 month old at the moment. I truly value education and I have experience tutoring adult students, as well as younger students (age 10-16) in math, English, history, and science.

I am an ambivert that needs audio and visuals to learn. I can relate these techniques to others because I do my best learning by teaching. In my opinion, being a great learner is key to being a great teacher/ tutor.

Added bonus--I speak Farsi.

Some facts:

1. Did you know that the word Algebra has its roots in the Arabic language?

2. The only summer camp I went to was a family-led home math camp when I was 9 years old. That was when my dad taught me Algebra the Arabic way.

3. My geometry teacher once told me I had a natural instinct for teaching.

4. I love writing proofs!

5. I got an A+ in both semesters of Anatomy and Physiology last year when I took them at Sacramento City College (BIO 430 and BIO 431).

6. I listened to every lecture 3x to understand every detail.

7. I created my own supplemental documents that students have told me helped them greatly.
