Originally an aide, I returned to college and based on my first degree in Anthropology, pursued teaching of Social Studies. I took the Praxis in English and ultimately scored higher in the English subject area! Entrenched in teaching, I continue to look for exciting ways to bring texts and thought alive to my student audience.

I have been tutoring students that cannot attend school for varieties of reasons. Many of these students felt so lost and behind having missed many days of school. I have had a 100% success rate in not only ensuring their credits but facilitating their return to the classroom as engaged, excited learners.
