"I have over 15 years of experience working with a variety of students from grades 7-12. I am certified to teach ELA, History, and Special Education. My experience as a special education teacher has also afforded me the opportunity to support students in Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2.

I know how to differentiate instruction for struggling learners as well as those who are gifted. I am trained in ABA techniques to further support students on the Autism Spectrum, and I have training in the Social Thinking curriculum to help students with organization and executive functioning skills.

I know how to connect the material to real-world applications as well as knowing how to incorporate reference materials to help students find scaffolded success.

Having a background in history allows me to provide historical context to literature to help bridge meaningful connections to the material.
