"I have been teaching for over 15 years and I love it. My speciality is ESL, but I can also teach Spanish and English. I have a Master's degree in TESOL and have been teaching in the United States, Korea, Mexico, Spain, Brazil and Africa. Working with individuals is very fun and rewarding for me because I can customize my lessons by basing them on students' needs and interests.

My lessons are engaging and allow the student a lot of time to practice. I know that the key to learning is not only delivering the information in an interesting way, but also giving the student enough time to work with the material and ask questions. My students have described me as approachable and kind and that I have an ability to make complex concepts and ideas easier to understand. Students I tutor will notice that I do a lot of discovery learning. Instead of simply telling the student about the material, I set up activities and questions that help them discover rules and ideas on their own. I believe this makes the lesson more interesting and the material more memorable.
