"Hello There! My name is Roa. Speaking in English was not my first language but I have learned it from school as part of the curriculum. When I was in High School, I used to teach kids with different stories and I found out teaching is so much fun and exciting. Aside from teaching, I also love to do paintings and drawings~ In fact, during my spare time I try to learn new things like knitting, crochet and doing a lot of DIYs. But then, Education nor Fine Arts were not my first choice to take up in college, instead I finished my study with Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Cebu Doctors' University. After I graduated, I had my first job in an ESL academy where I taught English to different nationalities for almost 4 years. And, I realized that teaching is really something I am passionate about, so I took Professional Education and passed the licensure examination for both Nursing and Education.

Having finished my academic study, passing the Licensure Examination for both Nurses and Teachers, and having an experience in teaching English as Secondary Language for almost 4 years, I would right fit into the position as a Teacher. As my enclosed resume demonstrates, I am capable for this position. After graduating 4 years of study with the course and taking up units for Professional Education (Major in Science Biology), I believe that I have possessed the skills to become a great tutor.

My past experience in teaching students from ages 2 years old to 16 years old, and adult students gives me an edge to provide quality teaching. Moreover, I am able to handle high pressure situations, and cope up with everyday challenges with motivational strategies and positive attitude. Besides my teaching proficiency, I am also equipped with the knowledge and skills in planning the lessons appropriate to my students' program.
