"I'm Jun C., a 24 year old male with a true passion for mathematics and science. I have been tutoring for estimated 3 years now and have had great success with my students, ranging from primary school to high-schooler, and non-traditional students.
I began tutoring by helping other students in my high school classes. I was promoted as a class representative for the class Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. (To clarify the differences between the American background education and British background education, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics are the combination of all Math classes, including but not limited to Algebra, Geometry, Finite Mathematics, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, and Calculus). I was helping my teacher as an assistant to help the other students in understanding the mathematical concepts from both their homework and practices.
During my pre-university level, I was taking Cambridge A-level with the subjects in Additional Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. During my after school hours, I was tutoring high school students to prepare for their high school final tests. In the meantime, I joined the Mathematics Society and Association in my school and I was part of the test prep tutors which help the members preparing for the Mathematical Contests. The Mathematical Contests I participated includes Euclid Math Contests by CEMC, International Mathematical Olympiad, and Mathematical Computing Contests.
In university, I volunteered as a math and science tutor with the undergraduate CLUE community at the University of Washington. During the years, I took multiple branches of mathematics classes including but not limited to Differential Geometry, Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equation, Topology, Statistics, Real and Complex Analysis, Engineering Mathematics, Chaos Theory, Mathematical Modeling, etc. Therefore, I have the knowledge and experiences in working on a range of different types of questions.
After graduation, I was then hi" less...
