"Hello! I'm Renee, a rising junior at Davidson College. I have been a volunteer tutor throughout high school and am now a tutor for a local teaching center. I love working with kids of all ages and finding new ways of explaining material to best help the student. My ultimate goal is to be there for the student whenever needed in almost any subject.

I particularly enjoy tutoring in math, English, and science. I can provide help with school or college application essays, homework, and study tips. I maintained above a 4.6 GPA in high school and had straight A's in classes including Calculus 2, English IV Honors, and AP science courses. I have received an English academic award as well. I will constantly be working to help improve grades, understanding, and overall satisfaction with school work.

I adore working with kids. I have tutored Elementary schoolers professionally, babysat for the last six years, and volunteered to teach Elementary children at my church for four years. I understand the need for enthusiasm, encouragement, and patience.

I am currently majoring in Biology at Davidson College. This is an extremely rigorous program. I deeply enjoy biology and am also on the pre-med track.

I have extensive experience in English tutoring and have tutored many ESL students. I especially enjoy proofreading, editing, and writing. Reading comprehension and grammar are also topics I am capable of helping with.
