I am an experienced science teacher. I can navigate most science subjects at the high school level and Chemistry and Biology at the college level. My approach centers around having students comprehend the material by asking relevant questions.

I am Certified to teach Biology and Chemistry in Florida and I have experience with various other subjects. Because science relies heavily on math, I can navigate most algebra and trigonometry courses easily.

I am a scientist. Science is greatly dependent on math. I am particularly fluent in algebra. I have tutored adults in private settings related to the math they are required to learn for GED examinations

I have a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I have certifications in both Biology and Chemistry through the Florida Department of Education. I have taught Chemistry for 6 years and Biology for one year. Physical science in Florida has a very significant Chemistry component and I have taught the subject for two years at both the honors and regular high school levels. I am also certified by the College Board to teach AP Chemistry. This is a college level Chemistry course.

I am a down to earth person that has the patience to try various approaches. Because I have taught in the public school system I am familiar with most major text books being used and I have developed methods that work for students.
