"Hello!

My name is Rachel and I have been teaching for 15+ years here in Charlotte. I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Physical Science. I have taught AP Chemistry for 6 years, and Standard and Honors Chemistry for 15 years, and Physical Science for 2 years. I have also tutored students from other schools, college, and done several Home-bound Assignments for a local school district. I love working with students one-on-one or in small groups. I have proven methods and techniques that will help your student (or you) succeed in Chemistry.

I am originally from the Finger Lakes Region in upstate NY and have lived in Charlotte with my husband for the last 15 years. I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY with my B.S. in Chemistry Education. I student taught at both the Middle School & High School levels and will work with students of all ages.

I do have a busy schedule so I have a 24 hour cancellation policy and will re-schedule sessions. I prefer to meet at the library or a coffee shop, and at this time I am only meeting in the Steele Creek area or the Wyzant Online Platform.
