"I am a passionate science teacher specializing in Chemistry! I have worked in several schools, teaching Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Math to grades 6-12 both overseas and in the United States. My university degree is in Biochemistry, and after graduation I moved to Europe where I began to pursue my teaching career.

I have over 10 years of experience of teaching in various school settings, as well as tutoring for science and math.

I absolutely love science and am passionate about helping students maximize their understanding and application of Scientific knowledge. To me, it is not about learning just the facts, but on emphasizing how to understand the process and subsequently enjoy the subject more. I am aware that science and math can be a challenging topic for many students, and my teaching experience has provided me with a range of teaching skills to help students at any level understand and succeed.

My previous students have said that I am kind, patient, and caring as a teacher, and that I explain things in meaningful and memorable ways.

My educational background is in biochemistry and I always planned to pursue medicine, before seeking an alternative path. I discovered I loved working with students, and I am passionate about sharing my love of chemistry, as well as other sciences. I am experienced in teaching chemistry, biology, and physics to grades 6-10, as well as teaching IB biology and psychology to grades 11 and 12. I have taught various curricula and age groups, ranging from students who struggled with the subjects to those who were top of their class. I am skilled at modifying abstract concepts and using a variety of resources to bring them to life in a meaningful way for students. I like to incorporate a lot of visual aids, analogies, and real world applications to make science come to life.
