"I have a Ph.D in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and have spent years teaching in college classrooms as well as tutoring in-person and online. I have successfully helped students from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, including students with no former chemistry coursework.

Being a great educator is about more than just passing on information to students; unfortunately, this is often the approach used in our educational institutions. Effective teaching involves developing a relationship with the student, understanding the best approach for each student individually, offering approaches for problem-solving, and providing an interactive, positive environment in which the student is comfortable both answering and asking questions. These are all part of my skillset, and I bring them to bear in all my student interactions. (A sense of humor doesn’t hurt either.)
