"I’ve graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with a minor in Computer Science, earned an Associate’s in Applied Science degree in Data Processing, a Certificate in Computer Programming, and eight graduate credits in Philosophy.

Programming first excited me because it’s artistic science. It lets the programmer describe elegant ways to tackle problems that the computer can solve efficiently because the programmer finds fast ways for it to do that.

So I’ve tutored many college students in many programming languages, including Basic, C, Cobol, Pascal, and Fortran. I’ve also substitute taught Data Processing at a business and technical school, lectured corporation employees on computing, and taught my former coworkers how to use personal computers and business software.

Since students want to excel, our sessions always stay highly student-centered. That’s why the first one can be free to help a student to decide whether to work with me. During that meeting, we’ll talk about what to work on, how you learn best, whether it’s by seeing, hearing, or doing. With that information, we’ll custom-make a strategy to make computer programming more understandable, fulfilling, and fun.
