I developed my love for accounting in high school and I was fortunate to have professors at the University of Wyoming that fostered my knowledge and respect for the accounting profession. Throughout my career I find myself most energized when I am afforded the opportunity to train co-workers.

I tailor my lessons to students' learning styles. If you are a visual learner, I have great tools to explain the basic concepts. For auditory learners, we will talk through concepts in plain, easy-to-understand language. We will work through exercises together.

In college I served as a tutor for the athletic department working with individuals and small groups.

I am a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado. I started my career as an auditor for one of the Big Four firms. I am currently working as a consultant to small and mid-sized companies where my responsibilities often include training my clients' staff. I have worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as small to mid-sized startups and non-profits. I have managed various departments including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, procurement and treasury functions.
